Dried Flowers

I love flowers! I believe 90% of the time, I buy my own flowers and love drying them to later give as gifts. Drying flowers is not as hard as I had once imagined. Pair them with any available bottles, old vases, or anything else you can find and they’re perfect. They look fantastic and make for beautiful gifts that last a lot longer than your traditional fresh flowers. You can bunch them together with a rubber band and hang them upside down, perched by a clamp clip or you can use yarn to tie knots to individual flowers onto a hanger and hang to dry. Whatever your method, be sure to keep them in an area where they won’t be disturbed too much and are away from the sun. After they’ve dried, spray them with hairspray to keep them from falling (it’s the only thing I use hairspray for) and that’s it!

Below is but a sample of my collection, as I have given many away as gifts.
